- Logos - He uses a lot of memories to stir up past events and emotions to remind her how much they love each other.
- Typical - Styx use an argument that a person who has ever and had to part would have felt and believed.
- Relevant - Styx speak right to their audience, and convey messages that would remind that person of their love.
Effective - It had the exact opposite effect. Instead of easing the pain of parting, it only increased it, and made the parting harder.
