Back on track

So today I got back into my workout routine, because I didn't do anything since the last time I wrote. However bad I thought I would do, I actually did really well. Instead of suffering immensely, I was able to pull off 30 Push-ups on my 5th set, with only a slight hesitation at the end.

For my sit-ups on the other hand, I also did well, but I was dying the last 10 Sit-ups of my 5th set, which I ended up doing 30 as well! Despite having a week off, I feel real good, maybe my body just needed the rest, but that's probably an excuse. Anyways, here's me, feelin' good:

Week 2 Day 2 of Push-Ups

Today is a good day. I don't know what it was, but I was just feeling good tonight. I did all my sets with no problem, and felt awesome! On the 5th set I did 20 push-ups instead of just 17. If I can keep doing 3 more than the minimum every time, I'll be doing 100 in no time! It just feels good being able to do this many. I did nearly as many as I maxed out on during the initial trial. That makes me feel real good about my progress.

Well, here's my work-out for the day, and another big thank you to www.hundredpushups.com for all the help.

Week 2 Day 1 of Sit-Ups

Wow. This is becoming quite the workout for me, and I'm glad for it. It's always good to know when you didn't just do something, but you gave everything you had to do it. That's kinda the way I feel tonight after those sit-ups. I am definitely growing stronger, and I can begin to feel my abs (and arms for that matter) gain strength. While I'm still not at where I need to be, I'm slowly and steadily getting there. For the last set today, I did the max 22, but I couldn't do anymore. I had one short 5 second pause after sit-up number 15, but I was able to finish the last 7. I tried to do one more, but only got about half-way there before I couldn't move anymore. I don't really 'feel' the burn, but I can feel the fact that I can't do a full sit-up after a while.
Anyways, it's been awesome, and I look forward to another week of pain and gain!
Again, a big thank you to www.twohundredsitups.com for the help in my quest. And here is my work out for today:

Week 2 Day 1 of Push-Ups

So this is the beginning of a new week in the House of Payne. This week I'm starting off strong(ish). I did all the reps to the amount suggested. The last rep was really hard to hit 15 push-ups, but I did it. I can tell that this is gonna get tough quick, but I just have to be tougher.
